Job Description:

• Intermediate Red Hat Linux Administrator (HPUX and AIX a plus)

Duties /Responsibilities include:

·         Linux file system management

·         Manage configuration files regarding security access o Install 3rd party software on Linux and Unix OS.

·         Will participate in OS upgrades, i.e. upgrading Linux OS. (RH 4,5 and 6)

·         Add printers to Linux OS

·         Perform quality build checks of installed servers.

·         Conduct audits on servers to ensure environment remains compliant

·         Manage Linux VM’s and Physical OS instances o Some scripting knowledge in Shell(Perl and Python and plus)

·         Create and test clusters using MC/ ServiceGuard and RH Cluster

·         Write documentation regarding procedures and processes

·         Work with Disk Management Team on Storage Migrations o Participate in Unix to Linux Migrations.
