Our client is looking for Senior Java Developer/Team Lead. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work within a small team and produce high results. Must be results-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills. The successful candidate must be a self-starter & able to work in a fast-paced environment; supervise simultaneous projects with competing priorities. Ability to interact with cross-functional teams. Provides leadership skills and technical expertise for developing, modifying and maintaining systems in order to meet user requirements.
Responsibilities:
Participate in application architecture, infrastructure and design reviews.
Lead and participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional project.
Strong focus on time and resource-management, decision-making and parallel project deliveries.
Knowledge of and experience in the implementation of design patterns and best practices.
Actively drive design reviews, code reviews and code walkthroughs to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the business and the system.
Coordinate code migrations to move code through each environment (Development, Test and Production) with the code deployment teams.
Lead Issue resolution for production systems.
Experience in profiling, identifying and optimizing existing code and code developed by other team members.
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for offshore programmers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business analysts, solution architects, project managers and development teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Required Skills:
Candidates must have a minimum 10+ years' experience in object oriented software systems Java coding and design experience with the following technologies:
Expertise in Eclipse, J2EE, XML,JMS, Web Services, and Oracle 10G+.
Expertise with Java open source technologies such as Spring 2.5+, Ant, and Hibernate.
Experience in an Agile Software Development.
Experience building enterprise Java applications using WebLogic.
Practical TDD/JUnit experience and the ability to deliver quality unit-tested solutions.
