Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
Contributes to requirements gathering, creation of application architecture document and design artifacts; deliver high quality codes, activities related to implementation & transition; interface with internal team & key stakeholders; analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables within the guidelines, policies and norms of Client.


Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience with J2EE Technologies and 3 years of experience in supporting Java/J2EE applications.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current ADP II security clearance.
DoD / Tricare experience.
Good understanding of application support and ITIL process
ITIL Certification
5 years of experience in in Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Webservice, Sybase, SQL Server Skills
2 years of experience in Unix/Linux operating system
Experience working within Insurance domains.
Ability to work within a diverse, multiple stakeholder environment.
Analytical skills

The job entails sitting, as well as working, at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
