Duties
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate complex performance systems.
Work closely with many dev and ops teams to identify and evaluate appropriate scenarios.
Build and execute performance tests while building monitoring on the system being tested
Build predictions of system behavior based on evaluated models.
Evaluate system components: CPU/Memory/Disk/Network & OS/Application.
Qualifications
Extensive experience with any Application Performance Management and related tools
Strong experience with investigating and solving large complex performance analysis/testing/troubleshooting on Windows OS, IIS, Virtulized Infrastructure & SQL Server.
Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, etc. ) and associated capacity and performance indicators
Good understanding of TCP/IP, networking topology
Proven experience using independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.
Experience with tools: Visual Studio Performance Testing, HP Performance Center
Education Requirements for the Position:
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher or Foreign Equivalent in a related field of Study is required with related experience.
