• Develops Enterprise wide telecommunications strategy as
part of NYTOM, architecture and standards encompassing advanced services
(Unified Communications, Application Enablement and H/A, load balancing, QoS
VoIP/IP Telephony) and protocols (SIP/H323/ TCP/IP, DHCP, NTP) a wide range of
transport topologies (MPLS/ WAN / MAN / LAN, WLAN),
•Design, plan and execution of voice services (IP Telephony SIP & H323,
ACD, Contact Center, Virtualization, Voice-mail, legacy PBX migrations, IP
Telephony platform upgrades, etc…) that are consistent with the goal and
objectives set by the AIGGS global utility model and lines of business
throughout the company
•Develops dial plans, long distance trunk aggregation and toll-bypass
strategies
•Develops and implements video and fixed-mobile convergence solutions (ex.
Blackberry, Avaya One-x-mobile, Skype for Iphone, Voice over WiFi, etc…)
•Collaborate to develop solution for a converged voice networks with
multi-vendors and multi-platforms
•Implements technology road map with adherence to global technology strategy
including best practices
•Develops comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans
•Contribute to execution plans and executes technical infrastructure projects
to upgrade or refresh supported systems
•Develops documentation including processes and procedures for consistent
maintenance and support
•Develops and contributes to policies, standards and procedures, and
documentation of best practices/process improvements
•Interfaces with various levels or groups within the organization to gain
consensus and buy-in from all parties
•Interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers
•Perform other duties as assigned or required
