Complete Description: Position will serve as Data Architect designing the data tier for systems with an emphasis on geospatial data. Responsibilities include:
• Develop geospatial data models
• Meet with business owners and developers to understand data requirements and project needs
• Design, develop and manipulate databases
• Create scripts to promote data through development, test, and production environments
• Design and implement data views and triggers
• Develop, implement, and monitor data update processes
• Create and maintain central registry of metadata
• Document existing data workflows and update processes
• Manage data maintenance calendar for data updates
• Coordinate with DBA for database monitoring, event management, and incident response
• Troubleshoot database performance incidents
• Coordinate with Enterprise Geospatial Architect and DBA to integrate a variety of data sources into Enterprise Geospatial Data Warehouse
• Provide support for application development teams for the integration of geospatial data
