Short Description:  This position will be providing support for State of Iowa agencies and departments as they seek solutions within the Salesforce product set.

Complete Description:  Position Description: 

•The Salesforce Developer develops, configures, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software, enhancements to existing proprietary software or purchased software packages.
•Performs technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations
•Follows Salesforce.com’s best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions.
•Possess strong communications skills.
•Able to work on multiple concurrent projects.
•Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning.
•Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus.
•Shall adhere to OCIO work rules.
•Communicates and collaborates with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
•Researches and keep current on force.com technologies and communicates trends and future needs from a business perspective

Marketing Cloud, Community, Visual Force, Chatter and the Force.com platform.
•Conceptualizes, prepares and creates detailed technical specifications from which
complex programs will be written or configured
•Develops solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud and Visual
Force. Complies with all required Company policies and practices relating to the System
Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
•Develops custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages
•Writes, tests, analyzes, and implements high quality code according
to specifications
•Understands and leverage the Salesforce provided APIs and components of Salesforce
AppExchange for developing custom objects
•Creates reports and dashboards using Salesforce to meet the reporting and analytical
requirements of the business users
•Provides Tier II Support for Salesforce applications and manage service tickets needing
escalation to Salesforce
•Supports Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows,
automated approvals
