Job description:
Immediate requirement for SSRS BA/Developer.
Core Responsibilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Design / Develop Customized Reports / Dashboards
- Design / Develop Reporting Portals.
- Strong BA skills to work with users on creating reports.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of analytic and/or operational models and reports.
• Design and automate reports for efficient and timely dissemination to the business units.
• Provide technical leadership and best practices in the design, development, and deployment of complex data models.
• Understand source data models, designing standardized data models within a data mart, and importing data into the data mart using SSIS best practices.
Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of experience in report development, data analysis and is proficient in SQL query writing, SSIS, and SSRS.
• A strong background in business analysis, experience with insurance industry is a plus.
• Full command of T-SQL for purposes of loading and transforming data with requisite business logic.
• Generate complex queries for reporting purposes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience.
• Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks, work under tight release schedules.
• Good knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence environment.
