JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sr. Solution Architect

MUST HAVE:

·         Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

·         15+ years relevant experience in technical leadership and/or technology consulting on large enterprise projects.

·         Multiple projects working at an Architect level with an Architect title.

·         Knowledge of Agile processes (Scrum preferred).

·         Experience designing and building large-scale, distributed systems delivered as Enterprise-wide, global-facing PaaS or SaaS offerings.

·         Experience with large scale migrations to Azure.

·         Experience with SOA and/or micro services-based architectures.

·         Experience with documenting complex solution architecture designs.

o   Proficient in ability to document designs using modeling and diagramming techniques appropriate for the required context.

·         Hands-on experience and solid understanding of the following technologies:

o   C#/.NET 4.5+

o   Web API

o   SQL Server 2014+

o   Windows Server 2012 R2

o   Experience with a message broker / service bus technology

o   Azure

·         Knowledge of Domain Driven Design.

·         Able to identify and communicate. issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills.

·         Self-motivated and proactive.

·         Possess strong decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.

·         Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.

o   Comfortable speaking in front of an executive audience.

·         Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions.

·         Desire to take the initiative, moving projects/ideas forward with clarity.

·         Adept negotiation skills in high-pressure situations.

·         Leadership skills to indirectly lead cross-functional teams towards common solutions.

NICE TO HAVE:

·         NoSQL technologies, such as MongoDB and Redis.

·         Service Bus for Windows Server / Azure Service Bus.

·         AWS.

·         Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem.

·         Tableau.

·         Enterprise Architecture certification, such as EACOE or TOGAF.

·         Tax industry / financial services experience.
