• Worked on Execution of Testcases in Quality center. This Testing consist of verifying the Screen fields values and their associated business rules, Checking the dependency among the fields etc.

Extranet is a Life insurance project in which an intranet single language website E-chassis is transform to internet–multi language site. E-chassis is designed for creating Policy and verifying the document generated for each different Policy. Different Quotes are created for different product based upon Payment Mode, Payment Frequency , Age , Age of Maturity etc.

In this project, We also work on verifying the application in other language (Italian, Spanish and German).

Confidential Testing team is responsible for the Integration, System and Regression testing of the application. There are set of business rules defined for each product. So the team is extensively involve in responsible for testing of these Business Rules, Screen Validations and Complete flow of application for all the defined products.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzed the Business Requirement Document, Functional / Technical Requirement Document (BSDR/PSD) and streamlined the Testing Activities.

The Document Management and Workflow Control System (DRSpro) application is basically a workflow which steam line all processes of clerks and managing documents of customer .This application was built in keeping in mind to make a office completely paper-free. IVK Client is basically a GUI application used by clerks and executive of Insurance Company for managing and maintaining customer documents and specified processes. It has access to VORIS which is Vorgang Information system having all the data for different work flows , provides information on current and archived business processes Its functionality include forwarding of business processes, automated allocation of business processes, archiving of business processes, processing of business processes based on Role, Authorisation and control

Responsibilities:

• Participated in Framework creation of DRSpro in Silk tool. Data Driven Framework is designed as the application has fixed/limited functionality but wide variety of data. For example creating a Process is one functionality but we need to test it positively and negatively for 100 of Process Ids.
• Automate Testcases are developed using Visual 4T Scripting Language. Data driven testcases pick the data from Excel and verify different functionality as per requirement.

• Worked on fixing the Base Support CR raised in production environment. We wrote Query as per CR issue and assigned them to support Team. Support Team execute the Query in production and sent the result to us. This process continues until the problem is resolved and then we closed the CR.
• In this project, all the Testcase are kept in svn repository. so during each execution cycle, I was responsible for extracting the Testcases from svn and distribute among the testers. We have folders in shared drive for each Test Team member where we keep the assigned and executed Testcases.
• Testcase execution reports are prepared in Excel, On daily basis checked the Excel report and make sure the work in-progress and if we have any major finding than we need to intimate it to onsite coordinator. Once a failure is occurred, a CR has been raised in Lotus Notes CR system and assigned to the Test manager.
• Involve in managing production ticket using Remedy Ticket Managing Tool. It includes analyze the raised ticket and assigned it (by raising a CR) to the responsible team of DRSPro & get it fixed soon. Once the raised CR is fixed for the respective ticket, We need to update the remedy ticket status with appropriate comment in German language and assigned it to the concern user.
• Involve in testing the Mainframe Host Application (which is one of the sub-application of DRSPro designed in mainframe) through PCOM. It include launch host application and then verify some of the data in mainframe.

The changes are worked //executed per batch and are productive during the next day. The application is based on a Browser-Lösung {browser solution} and is described in the following. Some masks were already designed for the description of the functions within this application. These masks form the basis for the description of the functions and are displayed in the following chapters. The layout of the masks is changeable after consultation with the department and the BO. The described functions within the masks are changeable only in special//exceptional cases (error descriptions, technical restrictions//limitations). A renewed set-up is necessary in these cases.
