Project: Theater Atlas
Theater Atlas is a web based application which uses SQL Server, Image Server as the backend and was basically created to view the complete theater information in US and Canada. The application uses the Microsoft Mappoint Webservice for invoking the DMA level maps for Canada and US so that the user can locate the theaters plotted over these map with the help of colored pushpins. The FileNet content also used to capture the maps, theater images and store it in the Image server for later retrieval. The FileNet content compresses the capture images and it helps in reducing the file size as well as server space. The Driving directions between any two theaters on any region can be viewed by selecting the source and destination theaters on the map.
