The intent of this solution is to support efficient automated Operational reports (mail out letters to the members with Drug Cost forecasting for the rest of the year), Program Outcomes metrics and financial reporting.

Description:

The Medicare Enrollment Rx Calculator was developed to contain operation costs, by enabling Humana’s members to complete the enrollment process online. This project includes web tools to support enrollment of Medicare members during the open enrollment period (2010). This includes the Medicare Open Enrollment Rx Calculator and the Medicare Drug List search to support Medicare Part D. The effectiveness and usability of these tools helps meet online sales goals. The key driving force for these tools will be to support 2010 Medicare plans and where applicable, promote MAPD (Medicare Advantage with PDP) plans to our current PDP (Prescription Drug Plan) members and Medicare eligible individuals through Humana’s new changes in plan design.
