VOD OnDemand service for Android based mobiles

Objective: A Video OnDemand(VOD) service was to be setup for Telecom service provider as a part of their 3G services. The service involves the Android user to view streaming videos using Real Time Streaming Protocol(RTSP).
The project also involves the user to record videos on the Android phone and upload the same in a remote server and share the video with his friends.

Implementing Vayu Enterprise Platform(VEP) for Palm based mobiles

Objective: Vayu Enterprise Platform(VEP) is an platform for implementing multimodal inputs from various human actions like voice,etc.The ability of the platform is to respond to various human actions and implement the action to the computer.
The objective of this project was to port the same platform to webOS.The work involved writing the UI code in JavaScript,HTML5 and communicating to the device through Java socket programming.

Scan for Medical enabled Bluetooth devices
Query the local Bluetooth adapter for paired Bluetooth devices
Establish RFCOMM channels
Transfer data from Medical Devices
The data would be communicated on to the Android phone and displayed

Project 4:

AndroGym based Personal Trainer Application for Android based mobiles

Objective: AndroGym is a personal trainer based application on Google Android platform for Android based handsets. It is used to track the workout details performed by a member who is prescribed by a physio. The member performs a workout program either based on a Treadmill or an outdoor jogging/running activity. After the Treadmill exercise the member usually feeds in his workout parameters from his mobile phone and uploads in the Server. For an outdoor activity like jogging/running, the workout parameters like distance and speed are calculated from GPS and then uploaded to the server.
The workout parameters are then viewed by the prescribed physio who then prescribes the next set of parameters to the member.

IBM Technical Education Services Presentation Layer (ITES PL)

Objective : This is IBM Technical Education Enrolment Site. This internet site allows users to view and enrol for various courses. These courses can be classroom or an online course. The application is built on Java/J2EE Technologies and it is deployed on Websphere Application Server in AIX environment.

The primary audience consists of the external customers and the internal users. The external customers access the ITES PL application as an end user. The internal users contribute the web content to the ITES PL through the web content management system. External user could be individual person or company.

Flightdeck

Objective : Flightdeck is an Intranet-based Management Information System tool that allows authorised users to access and view detailed management reports. It aids informed decision making through standardised departmental reports on Expenses, Mobility etc and provides varying levels of access to confidential/sensitive data.
It is used by Managers (by default) and authorised IBM employees. This site contains the information in support of all IBM businesses. It is hosted within the W W Business Metrics Organization. It contains functions like My Flightdeck, Request Access, Search, User Utilities and Help.
