• This includes the AML case management tool, provides alert and case management operation for analyst to investigate anti- money laundering/suspicious activities. This application is based on web sphere platform on unix server with Java technology with Oracle database server. Currently, when AML Operations analyses a case, they must review the entire required customer KYC, accounts, relationships transactions associated with the accounts of the case. CMT shows only the transactions that breached the thresholds and generated alerts in Mantas.
• Users then separately open the various source systems to look at all customer transactions. In order to document sense of all transactions analyst need to use various source systems. There is constant copying and pasting of various data fields such as KYC, accounts, transactions from source system to the Case Documentation as part of case investigation cycle. Analyst has to search various accounts' information and transactions with specific date ranges, at least 30 days from the date of the alerted transactions according to GSOM .
• Analysts continuously capture screenshots of source system screens for justification purposes QA review, audit etc. according to GSOM pasting them in to a research log Word / Excel document, depending on region specific to prove their findings because there is no direct linkage between the data of the source systems back to the CMT. This process is heavily manual, time consuming and prone to inconsistencies with approx 20-30 of the analysts' time comprising of data gathering activities of an overall case investigation.
• The main purpose of this programme will be the automation of data gathering that is conducted manually by the analysts at present, which will assist in case investigations. The output of the automatically gathered data will be presented to the analysts as a Data Acquisition Template.

Citi Prepaid provides the customized prepaid programs to corporations looking for more efficient and cost effective ways to deliver payments. There are various applications come under Citi Prepaid one of those is scripting module. This scripting module contains various VB scripts, WSF script and Gentran Application ETL map files some of these scripts get called manually and some of them are scheduled. At present, these scripts call com components which are written in J . These com components are nothing but the ECount Service dll created from J code. The proposed changes in script migration project is about to modify existing scripts to call Java based com components instead of calling J based com components.

This project involved two modules one is to develop Java based com components and other is to modify existing VB scripts, WSF scripts and Gentran map files to call these newly developed Java based com components.

Responsibilities in brief :

Worked on studying technical feasibility for implementing Java based com components and calling these components in VB scripts, WSF scripts and Gentran map files. I played role of Team Lead and handled the team of size 2. In initial phases, I did some POCs and technical feasibility study for exposing Java API as COM components and calling these components in scripts. I prepared detailed leveled scripts scope documents with estimations for scripts changes and Java based com development. I defined java based com development, J-Unit test cases creation and scripts internal testing strategy and prepared Java com bridge service setup document. I did POC on migrating Windows registry based directory service to LDAP based directory service.

Achievement: I have been awarded I-Appreciate award for end to end successful execution of challenging Script migration project with minimum defects.

This product provides comprehensive money laundering compliance solution. It provides transaction monitoring, alerts/cases management, watch list checking and compliance reporting features to help banks and other financial institution to manage the risk imposed by money laundering and other suspicious financial activities.

Responsibilities in brief :

Involved in requirement analysis, prepared design flow for existing business models and new existing models and enhanced these models as per requirement. I also worked in design and coding phase of new reporting framework in jasper reports in AML, created new database structure for generating these reports. I designed these reports through iReport tool. I also involved in fixing critical defects in system.

Achievement: I have been awarded Kudos award for providing solutions to performance improvements in Postgres Database work.

I have been awarded Kudos award for implementing Jasper Charting framework for CSA framework of Sungard.

Description in brief :

NCSS is clearing and settlement system for capital markets segment on National Stock Exchange of India. NCSS application computes the margin and settlement information for the trading members. This is done after trade modification and custodian trade confirmations are received from the trading members through the extranet file interface. The security settlement involves allocation and generation of deliveries, with security pay-in/pay-out from the depositories through Extranet. The fund settlement is done through the clearing banks designated by the Clearing Corporation.

I was involved in maintenance and development. Developed modules for File transfer to Custodian and Bank interface, also worked on custodian report generation using Java and PL/SQL procedures.

• NCIS is a web based interface for Custodians and Clearing Banks. It provides Trades and OTR confirmation facility to Custodians through Screen based and File based. Custodians can get generated reports through File download utility.
• Custodian can have enquiry screen facility for confirmed, rejected Trades and OTR records. Clearing Banks upload Pay-in/Pay-out files using File upload utility. They can also get Pay-in/Pay-out files from NSE through File download utility.
• NCDEX Clearing Banks can also avail File upload and download utility. Collateral entry and Bank transaction facility is provided to them. Trading data is pushed from NCSS system to NCIS system after trading hours. Then modified data is fetched from NCIS system into NCSS system.

I was involved in maintenance of Custodian Trades, OTR confirmations and Clearing Bank interface.

Description in brief :

This is web based project for connecting to NSE clearing system. In this, trading members can do online client/custodian code modification for trades done on trading system of NSE and allocate or re allocated the trades assigned to particular Custodians. Custodians confirm or reject the trading member's trade on Online Trading platform. Additional features of the project include Client's positions, Open Interests etc on a real time basis are displayed to the custodians and trading members. The backend data population process which fetches data from existing OPMS system Online Positioning monitoring system to C2N database.
