Introduction

I am an IT consultant and my main interests and strengths are in modeling and designing object-oriented enterprise applications from a business perspective. My hands-on experience spans the automobile, banking and retirement business areas, backed by technical expertise in J2EE implementations.

Among IT service providers and consumers, there is a misconception that technology can overcome deficiencies in a poorly designed application. Often, the poor design is aggravated by mixing technical implementation with business logic. My passion and expertise in designing object-oriented systems are driven by my belief that an optimally designed enterprise business model that is technology independent can be the foundation for an effective enterprise solution. Most business systems usually have patterns and abstractions that can simplify the business model, and it requires skill and insight to discover and apply them.
