In my research, I investigated the possibility of utilizing moiré fringe method which is used to identify surface deformities and 3D shape reconstruction using ultrasound waves instead of light waves. During this research, I gained significant experience in ultrasound imaging physics and signal processing methods for ultrasound image reconstruction. Analyzed grayscale ultrasound images using Matlab for intensity profile and implemented some image reconstruction algorithms.
