• As a SharePoint Administrator, responsible for 3 server farms with a total of 13 servers. Administration involves in-depth knowledge of SharePoint Central Administration and delivery of high-availability, performance and delivery of in-demand user features.

• Key responsibilities include detail design of Administration module using ER-Win and Rational Rose. Coded modules to spec using JBuilder 4.0, Java 1.3, javascript , JSP’s, XML, and Oracle 8i with JDBC connectivity. • As a point member of the production team, responsible for successful deployment of the eFS product to the production environment. • Connector Foundation Team - Responsible for coding customer prototypes according to specification. Installed and configured Apache web server and Websphere application server for Servlet and JSP implementation. Code from customer specification, General Ledger/Budget Maintenance Servlets utilizing Java Server Pages technology; includes all aspects from presentation layer to middle tier logic.

• Research and Development Project for Database Independence - Assisted in the creation business objects using UML notation; (Platinum Plus). Code UI interfaces in PowerBuilder and Java to communicate with COM business objects.
• Design Team Leader - Integration of Order Management/Invoicing system to Vertex/Quantum Tax API. Responsibilities include research of third party tax software, gathering customer requirements, integration and design as well as the coding and testing of various components such as C batch programs, windows, and non-visual PowerBuilder user objects. • Building and Maintaining Distributed Online Sales Order Entry / Express Sales Order Entry Transactions and Order Management Components – Utilized PowerBuilder and Sybase. Designed logical transactions, (two-phase commit) and choose GUI metaphor presentation. Implemented OLE automation with Microsoft Excel in the Express Order Entry transaction to facilitate import and export of frequently used order detail lines.

Software Engineer

• As a member of the Millennium VAX development team, responsibilities included porting virtually the whole suite of mainframe offerings to the VAX. In this capacity I was tasked with converting batch jobs from JCL to DCL, COBOL conversion, as well as Millennium PDL. In addition to porting applications, new functionality was added.

• Key member of the International Product Services team responsible for adding International features to virtually the whole suite of Millennium mainframe products. Tools were written and enhanced to extract literals and date masks COBOL and Assembler into patches. After translation, the patches were integrated back into the product.
