• To establish a procedure for verifying that there are no leaks in teh components of teh pressure test booth equipment (ie, swivels, crossovers, pup joints, etc).
• Couple a Confidential SPM recertified or new component to teh test table. Fill teh component wif water and purge teh air from teh system. Cap off teh open end of teh component wif teh test end. Couple teh pressure test line to teh test end. Pressure teh component up to 5,000 psi and hold for 1 minute. Once passed, raise teh pressure up to 15,000 psi and hold for one minute.
• Once this TEMPhas passed, bleed off teh system and record teh results. If test fails, bleed off teh system and check for any visual leaks in teh lines. If no leaks are detected, uncouple teh test line from teh test end and remove teh cap from teh end of teh component. If line continues to leak, replace wif a different testing component.
