My Role :

• Performing day to day activities in Production, Development/Test Environment for Unix servers like AIX . Hardware like p5 590, 650, 670, p6-570, 595, P Series HW p570
• Support daily On-Call Issues with Siebel as ticketing software
• Plan and perform Hardware up-gradation and configuration.
• Administration of around 2000 UNIX server across the four Data Centers
• Attending daily issues such as filesystem management, housekeeping, checking disk usages etc.,
• Analyzing log files, checking error report and taking pro-active steps.
• User and password administration, OS Hardening and working with security related settings.
• Hardware Replacement like Disk replacement, CPU replacement, Board replacement etc.
