Confidential, formerly known as Confidential, is a global systems integrator and business transformation consulting firm focused on the communications industry. Majority owned by Confidential, one of the Top 10 industrial houses in India, in partnership with British Telecommunications plc (BT), world’s leading communications service provider.
OneView is a path breaking CRM implementation of BT which is one of the world\'s largest Telecom Service Providers. OneView caters to CRM and front office requirements for BT Retail division of BT Enterprise.
OneView is designed to provide 360 degree view of the customer. This means all the details related to each customer are organized within Siebel. The application is used for order processing, fault processing, opportunity management etc. BT after coming with an agreement with the OFCOM is in the process of creating a new business called Open Reach, which will provide a set of offerings for all the UK service providers including BT Retail. This includes lot of important changes on the Oneview Application including the implementation of the WLR3 product set.
EAI Developer (WLR3 Product Set)
- These products are based on Wholesale Line Rental products. BT Retail is used to cover all channels that sell the retail version of PSTN, ISDN2 and ISDN30 to its customers. Oneview handles WLR3 orders; it makes relevant calls to external applications in order to complete the order journey. These calls are made via MQ queues or web services. I was part of the Home Move andTransfers of PSTN Service team.
- Created MQ components and identified ways to process the incoming XMLs. The XMLs sent were all real-time requests from an external application called OR (Open Reach). This data immediately had to be actioned on Oneview CRM and send appropriate response back.
- Coded Business services (eScript) to modify the outgoing XMLs.
- Created Workflows to send and receive messages over MQ queues using EAI business services.
- Implemented Outbound Web Services to make calls to an External Application called Open Reach.

- Using eScripts enhanced the functionality by writing the Server Scripts as well as the Browser Scripts at the Business Component and Applet level.
- Used the Parent Read Only Field, BC Read Only Field, Field Read Only Field, Required user Properties to achieve the data driven behavior of the Business Components and Fields
- Created Joins and Links in or between the Business Components to show the data.
- Created Hierarchical Picklists to constrain the order sub statuses based on the status.
