- Proactively monitor Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and disassociated AP’s using Confidential Prime Infrastructure (CPI). Create Remedy tickets for WLC issues (off-line / switch over) or an AP issue. Determine issue and schedule dispatch to resolve.
- Customer reported issues with wireless coverage. Check Confidential Prime to verify that all AP’s at the location are active. Dispatch a technician help locate each on a floor plan. If the coverage issue is not apparent due to AP placement, an Air Magnet survey was performed and analyzed. Based on impact a recommendation was made to upgrade or add AP’s based on the survey.
- Reactive and Proactive cases found via SNMP and tracked using Remedy ticketing. Troubleshoot T1 or OC3 connections from multiple vendors using Frame Relay, MPLS, PPP and HDLC. Determine problem, disable Confidential for the connection and refer the issue to the perspective Confidential .
- Arrange site access for Confidential and dispatch a technician to help clear the CPE. RMA used to replace defective hardware. Verify stability, enable Confidential and close Remedy ticket.
