Responsibilities:
- I have been entrusted with numerous responsibilities, including team supervision, as a direct consequence of professional performance, technical knowledge, and natural leadership skills
- Responsible for the large-scale network expansion and reorganization of Inova medical healthcare system, comprising of five hospitals and over one-hundred non-hospital facilities.
- Lead a team of four multi-functional technicians in support of network closet migration processes, assigning and prioritizing daily tasks, ensuring balanced workloads, and effectively utilizing team members to perform outstanding technical work with minimal disruption of medical services.
- First, during the discovery phase, we do a detail survey of the existing infrastructure by building a data summary per closet that contains all the networked devices attached to the closet so we can be ahead of any challenge that may arise after the migration.
- The data summary contains all devices with their switch port/mac address/ IP address/ vlan membership/ location/ device type/ location/ device needs vendor support
- Second, during the post migration phase, we need to validate that everything is working as it should be.

- Provide network support to equipment across more than 120 data closets. Configure, verify, and maintain network equipment comprised of Cisco Nexus 7710 switches, Cisco Catalyst 4510E/4700E/3850 switches, Cisco ASA 5506-X in satellite closets and Palo Alto 7000 Series in core closet and Data Center. Delegate and instruct other technicians on appropriate procedures

- The third type of customers is service a provider in need to outsource portion of its contract or in need of a technician to troubleshoot a specific problem.
