Confidential,Cisco Technical Consultant , September 2001 – Jan 2002
I worked within the SME sector of BT within the midlands region. My role was to provide support for the IP specialist engineers, giving them guidance with network designs. Opportunities included IP telephony and Wireless solutions. The main reason for me being seconded to BT was to help build a stronger relationship between Cisco & BT by empowering them to sell and support a wider range of Cisco solutions more easily.
Confidential, Systems Engineer, September 2000 – September 2001
My primary role was to provide support for Cisco account managers by performing technical demonstrations for customers and verifying network designs submitted by Cisco partners. As a Systems Engineer on the graduate program we were given 6months extensive training. Within my first four months I was accredited to the CCNA and CCDA level, a couple months later I was accredited to CCNP.
Additional Information
Weight training three times a week and participating in a hand to hand combat called ‘Krav Maga’, helps me to remain fit and healthy. This has made me more disciplined and motivated to accomplish all my goals. Also participate in a basic Spanish class once a week as I’ve always been interested in learning a 2nd language. I’ve recently become a school governor within an inner city school as I feel it is important to give back to the community, ensuring that local educational standards are met.
