Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Consulting with clients to analyze business and technical networking requirements with emphasis on Wireless LAN and Guest networks as well as Network Infrastructures.
- Design, Implement and Test networking solutions according to industry best practices and methodologies in order to meet the client’s business and networking expectations.
- Conduct Passive, Active and Predictive Site Survey using AirMagnet Pro for coverage analysis for new RF design, assessments and validation. The information gathered will be displayed via Heat Maps and Visio diagrams.
- Troubleshoot complex wireless and internetwork problems using AirMagnet Spectrum and Wi-Spy Analyzer in order to identify interference, channel utilization and rogue devices .
- Configure and conducted software upgrades on the following Cisco devices for implementation : 5508 and 2504 controller ; 2811, 2900 and 3925 routers; 3750 (stacks), 4510, 2960, Nexus 7000 and HP A5120 switches; Access Points: 3502, 3602 and the new 3700 series.
- Troubleshoot and Open Cisco TAC cases to resolve device and network issues .
- Recommend configuration changes by analyzing existing configurations using Cisco’s Configuration Analyzer.

- Support and maintain Cisco Prime Infrastructure (PI) 1.3. and migrated all operational configurations, functionalities and Heatmap diagrams for the wireless network.
- Redesign and support Trinity Health/Mercy Hospital’s wireless infrastructure by conducting Passive Site Survey and creating Heatmaps using AirMagnet Pro for coverage area verification and AP replacements of old access points with new 3602 access points.
- Redesign and support Trinity Health/Mercy Hospital’s network infrastructure by replacing 6509 Cisco switches with 7000 Nexus and 2960 switches with 3750X switches as well as installing 4510 and 4948 Cisco switches.
