  • Involved in two major projects – SAN Migration project and OS Currency project
  • SAN Migration project involved migration of SUN servers from the old storage arrays (HDS lightening 9980V, Symmetrix 8830, Clariion CX 700) to the new storage arrays (DMX 3, CX3-80). Main duties included investigating the servers to check what needs to be remediated, patching the Solaris OS, upgrading VxVM, replacing HBA cards, allocating storage on the new arrays, zoning in the switches, mirroring the disks in old storage to the new storage using VxVM, and removing the mirrors from the old storage
  • OS Currency project involved patching the SUN servers, upgrading from Solaris 8/9 to Solaris 10 using Solaris Live Upgrade
