- Data Warehouse aggregates Point-of-sale system data from across all retail outlets in 180 countries. This data warehouse is built on Oracle and Unix. The total data in the system amounts to about few Terabytes and the daily incremental inserts are close to few millions of records.
- I was involved in writing UNIX shell scripts to validate, clean and then load the data in the staging tables and the final data warehouse tables.
- I have created Views, Materialized Views on top of those tables to generate reports for client use. I have created detailed design documents, coding and developer unit testing, test plans.
- I have worked with globally distributed teams spread across India, Philippines and Uruguay to co-ordinate the review of database design, code and test plans, getting database schema change request approvals from DBAs.

- Confidential is a California-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) product startup. It is a multi-tenant secure system hosted on Amazon Web Services cloud and delivered as Software as a Service for the physicians and physician groups. The product was designed with rich user experience using web standards with aim to even cater to the tablet (iPad) users. It provides delegated user provisioning, patient charts, encounters, specialty specific templates with widgets for capturing vitals, medications, procedures and approvals with electronic signing.
- It also provides a notification mechanism based on Amazon Simple Email Service and a REST API to support integration with other external systems.
- I was responsible for managing Assembla, a web-based hosted service that offers SVN Hosting, Issue Tracker and agile tools such as Burn-down charts, Product roadmap, Task board, User stories. I have created automated test suites in Selenium RC to cover most of the commonly used features of the system such as User Administration, Chart Creation, Specialty specific encounters and widgets. In addition to this I was also responsible for maintaining the JUnit developer test cases written by developers, reporting the QA activity progress to the management team and maintaining Jenkins/Hudson the continuous integration environment.
