Tested and trialed the system that ran VoIP (e.g., Skype, GoogleTalk), VoD, multicast video streaming, push-to-talk, and Internet access both on laptops and Wi-Fi-enabled smartphones, tablets, and other Wi-Fi client devices.
- Developed a converged location and identity platform to enable a service provider to seamlessly learn and combine location information from various access networks (e.g., wireline, wireless, cellular) and integrate it with the user identity management system. The objective of the project was to deliver targeted advertising and to enable a range of location- based group communication applications and services that are under the end-user’s control (from identity management to location resolution to content/advertisement filtering)
