With over 12 years in the IT field I have extensive experience in all aspects of the industry. I started as a Network engineer, working with Cisco equipment, DNS, Linux OS and Firewalls through several years as a Senior Windows Administrator for a Big 5 accounting firm, to a shift in my career at NBA into the Data Center & Facilities field while maintaining hands on technical experience with the latest cutting edge technology. During my time at the NBA I worked with Citrix, VMware and EMC storage, I then changed to HCL America during which time I helped design and build a Tier III data center from conception through construction and completion. I have extensive Project Management experience from small projects to entire data center migrations. I was then hired by Nomura Securities a Financial company where I worked heavily with high speed trading and market data networks and ultimately consulting for companies such as Time Warner. I also started my own IT consulting company Accuracy Services provide personal service and expertise to my clients.

DATA CENTER Consultant

I started this company formally in 2011 after leaving Nomura Securities. As the Lead consultant I have worked with small to medium sized companies to refresh their IT operations and IT facilities and allowed them to virtualize their business and secure their infrastructure. My clients include two public relations companies, an Education Trust company and a large Media Giant. The project scope included virtualizing their physical hardware, hardening their networks, global remote access, security and cloud vaulting of their backups. Upon completion I was able to lower their IT spending by over 40%. For the larger Media company I was the Subject Matter Expert for their global data center consolidation project in which I surveyed all of their large facilities, interviewed their managers and built a project application that was able to measure all of their data centers with over 400 metrics resulting in a C-Level plan to consolidate or expand their sites providing the costs, availability, constraints and final recommendations. I was hired to re-engineer five remote data centers in New Jersey supporting the mission-critical high-frequency market trading equities group. With extremely tight deadlines, ultra high visibility and responsibility for multi-million dollar trading activity this role was critical to Nomura's online trading business. Leveraging breakthrough leadership and facilities management expertise to direct a team of five professionals in elevating the performance of each physical site, including removing old equipment, reducing monthly leases, and improving incident response time.

Data center and facility manager - mANAGED SERVICES
Hired to manage an existing data center previously owned by Toys 'R' US, as well as the construction of a new US-based site. Expertly administrated all phases of the project, including planning, construction/build-out, permitting/inspections, commissioning, client migration, facility infrastructure, reporting, service desk startup, physical security, access control, and policy/procedure/SOP documents. After completion of the data center I was tasked with leading the initial large scale migration of the entire existing data center into the new location. During this project we refreshed hardware, virtualized systems and decommissioned much of the legacy systems. I was able to reduce the outdated 4000sf into 1000sf of new space and drastically reduce power and cooling consumption.
