Systems Engineer

• I am currently working as a Systems Engineer in support of the USDA contract. My responsibilities include providing operational support for Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and WINS. I also support 2,500 mailboxes in an Exchange 2010 environment with BES. In addition, I provide operations support for file services on NetApp, and print services. I also work with VMWare and Microsoft Hype-V virtualization technologies. I just completed implementation of two new RSA appliances in a primary/replica configuration. I am currently working on developing a solution with Casper to manage Macintosh computers on the network. I recently took responsibility to provide e-Discovery services using ProofPoint archive tool. I am currently working on migrating various apps from a newly acquired office.

Systems Administrator

• I am a Systems Administrator on a Windows network of 350 plus users. The network environment consists of Exchange 2003, Citrix, Symantec Anti-Virus v11, RightFax Server, and file/print servers. Most of the servers are running as virtual machines VMs on ESX hosts. Further, I am responsible for backup and offsite storage operations. Systems Administrator

• I am currently responsible for the Patch Management, Vulnerability scanning and change management systems. I am directly responsible for patching 1300 desktops and 600 portable computers using PatchLink. In a backup role I am responsible for patching 150 servers. I also created the Patch and Vulnerability Management program. In addition, I conduct vulnerability scanning using Harris STAT scanner. I am also administering Cambia CM, which is a change management system. This is used to identify rogue assets on the network. I also evaluated, selected and successfully implemented clustering technology. The evaluation conducted of Double-Take and Neverfail for a mission critical Intranet server. Lastly, I evaluated ISYS Desktop, ISYS Web and Thunderstone search engines for our file servers.
• As a team lead I lead support staff that provided desktop support services to 600 plus users. I also performed employee annual reviews and recruited Desktop Support staff. I worked on a management team to create the New Employee manual for new team members. I also worked on a team to create policies and procedures to improve the support services. Network Administrator

• I provided Network Administration on a network, which consisted of Windows 2003 Servers and Windows XP clients. LAN Administrator

I provided Network Administration and Desktop Support for over 1500 users on a Windows network. The network consisted of an Active Directory domain and the desktop clients were running Windows XP Professional. I provided network account and group membership management in Active Directory. I implemented NFuse, which is a web front-end for Citrix. Network Engineer

I served as the lead Network Administrator, Level 3 Help Desk support and Help Desk Manager working in the CIO's office. I managed the domain accounts, managed all print queues, WINS servers, patch management and remediation, Cisco 6509 network switches, and server upgrades. All reported problems were managed using Heat, the call tracking system. In the capacity of Help Desk Manager, I conducted annual reviews, approved time sheets, approved vacation time, worked with staff to develop their career goals and training plans. My last project included migrating staff offices within the organization to the CIO's network. I worked with the staff office Administrators to provide an accurate assessment of their network and served as the technical project manager for the migrations.
