• APS a company that manages nuclear and electric services for it's customers. APS is a client of APEX that initiated a planned task in their road map to complete B2B enterprise integration via Tibco Business Connect 5.0. Other Tibco services like EMS/JMS, BW, ADB SQL SERVER , RV/RVRD and HAWK were used to complete processing tasks. The responsibilities that were acquired are as follows:
• Architected required services for B2B Pathfinder. This would include building the B2B Pathfinder frame work which included building several types for B2B interfaces.
• Configured and completed setup for several BC hosts, Trading Partners, Protocols, Transports, EDI operations, EZComm Operations, HTTP, HTTPS, FILE, FTP, FTPS, EDIFACTS, EDIGATEWAY and Business Agreements. Once these configuration parameters for Business Connect were completed several test were implemented to ensure that the B2B interfaces were sufficient for both the host and trading partner.
• Established a strategy for load balancing, fault tolerance and monitoring.
• In order for Tibco Business Connect to effectively interact as a cohesive B2B tool within APS corporate enterprise other services had to be installed, coded, configured, tested and implemented B2B services and non-B2B services. Some of these services would include CONTROL-M and FILE WATCHER.
• Successfully wrote and implemented hawk rules for monitoring required B2B Pathfinder interfaces which included HAWK ACCELERATOR tool, HAWK CONSOLE and basic custom Hawk rules to monitor the core B2B core components.
