Systems Administrator
Works under the direction of the Director of Systems Development and is responsible for supporting the system needs of the HR and Payroll departments. Performs application administration for all Human Resources and Payroll systems. Works with the Director of Human Resources and has primary responsibility for creation and maintenance of all Cognos System Reporting, Cloud based Recruiting and On-Boarding systems.
- Administers all Human Resources and Payroll related systems, including troubleshooting, testing updates and enhancements and migrating changes to the Production environment.
- Ensures data integrity and accuracy of Human Resources databases.
- Develops and maintains HR/Payroll related system interfaces for payroll expenses, budgeting, recruiting, on-boarding and Cognos reports.
- Reviews the Ultipro SQL Database Jobs and Error logs on a daily bases and advises the SQL DBA of potential problems.
- Installs, upgrades, and maintains HR and Payroll related systems.
- Researches, analyzes designs, develops, tests, and implements new applications of the system.
- Assists Human Resources staff and others to develop, maintain, and produce standard and custom queries.
- Performs special research projects for the Directors of HR and Accounting and other staff members as needed.
- Assists Human Resources and Payroll staff in using standard application software.
Key Accomplishments
- Worked with vendors to automate the benefits enrollment process. Associates now enroll online and their selections are recorded in the HRIS system and transmitted to Cigna and Metlife whom automatically start/terminate the employee's coverage.
- Worked with on-site programmers to develop and implement employee rent deduction process. This process allows our employees to deduct rental payments in two equal installments every month based on their balance in MRI Apartment Management Software .
- Worked with vendor to implement and manage Ultimate Software's position control software. This software creates a employee structure as well as managing the actual and budgeted amounts tied to each position in the company.
- Worked with Silkroad to implement their Open Hire Recruiting and Red Carpet Onboarding solutions, complete with integration to Ultipro HRIS System.
- Named to technical transition team for upcoming eight billion dollar merger with Colonial Property Trust.
Internet Marketing
- Developed business plan for selling products using the World Wide Web. Use wholesalers to provide merchandise to the general public. As an independent business owner my
- responsibilities include all customer relations, shipping,
- marketing, research, and pricing.
- Launched new products and increased sales of those already existing. Detailed medications and informed of new studies in which our products would be beneficial to their patients. Organized programs and seminars designed to inform doctors of medications. Established and maintained relationships with healthcare professionals in Northeast Mississippi. This position was eliminated in November 2003 due to cutbacks in insurance coverages.
