Responsibilities:

  • As part of the OT Systems team, I was responsible for managing and maintaining the current XenDesktop and XenApp environments. I also supported a project to in corporate a new XenDesktop 7.6 Environment.
  • Citrix Administration - The current Citrix environments included a XenDesktop 6.0 and XenApp 6.5. I supported both environments, the 6.0 environment consisted of approx. 100 desktops and the 6.5 environment consisted of approx. 20 applications.
  • New XenDesktop 7.6 Project - This was my main focus and I worked with a consultant to install a XenDesktop 7.6 environment, this would replace the older XenDesktop 6.0 environment. I worked to build 3 environments and document the procedure.
  • CIP Systems Engineer - As a CIP Engineer, security was a main focus and all devices were scrutinized for very high security standards. We would document all software installed on the servers, all external listening ports, all windows security patches have been applied, verification that the servers are being malicious code updated & backed up. Then the documentation would go through a compliance team to verify all evidence is complete and correct to pass compliance Audits that occur.
