PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Time-Warner

Confidential

Responsibilities:
  • I was initially hired by the ODN (OCAP Digital Navigator) Client Development Team to work on automated test software development for their RTI (Remote Test Interface) product. After two months I was hired away from that group by the Director of the SIT (System Integration and Test) Team to develop infrastructure software to integrate the ODN RTI into the somewhat analogous SIT ATF (Automated Test Framework) product. The ATF is used to test head end servers (Network Control, Billing, VOD, Advertising, and more), and the RTI allows client (STB) systems to be used as tools for complete end-to-end automated network testing of these components. My work requires use of Java, Eclipse, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, Perforce, and the Jenkins continuous integration system. My role includes functioning as technical liaison between the ODN Client and SIT ATF Development teams in addition to code development.
  • While contracting through Sentosa Technology I also assisted with business development, candidate search and interviews, represented Sentosa and its clients at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas 2009, CableLabs conferences, and other industry events. I managed the visa sponsorship process to bring an intern onboard and mentored/ managed her position as a Sentosa recruiting and business development assistant.

  • Designed a video bridge driver for control of remote video bridge devices. The code was written in ‘C’ on a QNX network platform using a communication protocol specified by the bridge manufacturer.
  • Wrote client-side ‘C’ code to perform data extraction from database servers (Raima) on a QNX network
  • Designed, documented and implemented traffic analysis modeling software for video data traffic through a national video conferencing network (Media Express). The modeling was developed in ‘C’ on a Windows platform and provided import/export capabilities for MS-Access and Excel.
