MULTI-CHANNEL SYSTEMS OPERATOR/MAINTAINER
- Accountable and directly responsible for performing network vulnerability scans on several FOB sites. The scans allowed for a secure network free of any information assurance issues. These task-critical operations allowed units on site the availability of Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) and Non-secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) network systems. These systems were invaluable to the 500 Soldiers they supported during Operation Mountain Fury.
- Sustained the Joint Network Node 53 (JNN) system and setup of the Secure Mobile Anti-Jam Reliable Tactical Terminal (SMART-T) link on Baghram, Afghanistan Airfield.
- Operated as a member of SEN I-72 supporting 2nd Battalion (RECON), 1st Marine Division in Fallujah, Iraq. Provided C2 support to subordinate elements while under direct and indirect enemy fire, and gave 2nd RECON ROC the ability to receive orders and communicate orders to its companies, which resulted in the success of Operation Phantom Fury.
- Played an important role in the success of Node Center 82’s support of 1st Cavalry Division, which supported over 2.5 million calls, and provided consistent data access throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom.
