  • Proposals have been thus for manually built by planners, picking up episodes based on their judgment, resulting in slowness and inefficient or expensive deals. The objective of this project is to use some advanced algorithms to pick up the best plans possible, from the entire inventory, in a more scientific way, in a very short period of time, thus saving money and improving efficiency. The basic criteria like the networks clients want to have their units on, the dollars they are willing to spend for the expected CPM/impressions, and the flight dates they want to air their commercials are given by the clients. Optimizer will be fed with all inventories that fall into the clients' criteria on the one hand, and would be expected to come up with the best plan that would satisfy the CPM/impressions within the clients' budget
  • As the networks and hence the amount of data grew rapidly, the system began to slow down. The slow applications were identified and within them the slow Sqls, slowness causing designs were identified, tuned and the applications were made as good as it used to be.
