GM SAP CAB Coordinator
- Contract worker to General Motors. Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities for the Global SAP CAB (change advisory board) including processing of urgent changes that may be reviewed outside of the CAB meeting. Working with CAB managers and change owners globally –in regions such as: Asia-Pacific, Europe, South Africa, and Latin America. Ensure that the CAB is aware of all changes that are within their realm of responsibility. Verify that requests for change (RfCs) are correctly documented and ready for CAB review. Properly document that all RfCs have meeting minutes and an authorization status in remedy documenting the CAB's decision. Create and distributes the forward schedule of change. Audit submitted RfC records for completeness and accuracy. Administer and facilitate the weekly CAB meeting. Reports re-occurring absences of CAB participants to the CAB manager. Records decisions of the CAB or CAB/EC in the CAB meeting minutes. Track changes using CPR (SAP tool) to ensure changes have been transported and completed in the production environment. Expedite Urgent Change notifications. Periodically review and make corrections to the CAB master list. Generate and review change metric reports for evaluation. Help evaluate any outstanding issues with the CAB that can be resolved to make the CAB more efficient. Work with change owners from performing suppliers to ensure they are following proper CAB guidelines for all RFCs that are being submitted to the CAB. Other responsibilities include SAP license management. Responsible for facilitating the execution of an annual SAP license audit, summarizing the license audit results into an SAP License report, and communicating the results to GM & SAP. Also responsible for the annual SAP license maintenance invoice cycle as needed. Work with GM Purchasing on SAP License items and invoices. Also the monthly review SAP BASIS component validation to ensure accuracy before billing.
