Project: Global 4PL Implementation 07/09 12/11
Currently I am the Global IT Project Manager for the Global 4PL Implementation project, which includes preparing the IT project plan, facilitating TO-BE process discussions, negotiating contracts with IT vendors, leading weekly review meetings with our 4thParty Logistics Provider (4PL) partner, and providing all day-to-day directives for the project.

  • Prepared project cost estimate and appropriation request (AR) comprising of consulting, hardware, and software necessary for the business requirements of multiple interfaces with the 4PL partner, high availability and disaster recovery of B2B application, and 24/7 production support.
  • Reviewed cost estimate and obtained AR support from supply chain leadership. Collaborated with supply chain leadership on AR form and pitch. Presented AR with supply chain leadership and obtained approval from the Americas' and Global Investment Councils.
  • Provided key inputs for global TO-BE logistics process design including the ideas for standardizing the delivery goods issues, the shipment foreign trade zone screen for international shipping data, usage of shipment statuses, capturing actual delivery dates, and the inbound logistics process globally.
  • Negotiated contracts with IT service providers for lower consulting rates than targeted in the budget including a 75% price discount with our B2B vendor for the RossettaNet protocol adapter with no restrictions on partners or instances.
