Description : The SAP Movement Tracking System (MTS) is to assist in the Scheduling, Tracking and Posting of inventory movements at NuStar. MTS is highly integrated with NuStar’s SAP back office system, allowing for the creation of customer invoices, goods receipts and inventory movements related to NuStar Commercial Marketing and Supply activity. This involves data conversion from Planning Area format (linked lists) to BW cubes format (star schema Complex macros require more time to run – as they do not use any database operations like grouping / summing / direct updates. To overcome the above issues Teradata planned to develop an adapter which will directly connect to LiveCache for extraction of data and as well as to load the data into LiveCache.
