Project:                          Senior Design Project – Wireless Power Transfer,

  • Worked on the idea of wireless power transfer.
  • Came up with a design that would use an antennae and a rectifier circuit to transfer an AC signal input wirelessly and convert it to a DC output.
  • The basic idea of the design was to generate an AC signal using a function generator and transmit that signal through an antenna.
  • The signal is received by the receiving antenna and passed through a LC circuit for impedance matching, rectified and finally passed through a filter to get a clean DC output.

Research Paper:    RF-CMOS mixers

  • The purpose of this paper was to understand the working of different types of RF mixers and their applications in the world of wireless communications.
  • The paper addressed the basics of an RF mixer and explained the differences between mixer types such as single-balanced, double-balanced, bulk-driven and a micromixer.
