The client is implementing modules from SCM, FICO and HCM with ESS/MSS. I was brought on to the project as a senior developer working on RICEFW objects. I quickly transition to the HCM development team lead which involved overseeing of 12 developers working primarily on RICEFW and ESS/MSS objects. I also assisted in the development of SCM and FICO objects, including Product Costing, SD-Billing, Lockbox processing, and Financial Supply Chain Management.
  • HCM DEV LEAD Managed and lead the efforts of the project’s HCM development team. We successfully met aggressive deadlines set forth by PMO and executive team. Development object covered a wide number of HCM modules including PA, OM, LSO, EHS, Payroll, Time Management and ESS/MSS. I worked closely with the architect team to ensure activities were planned in conjunction with development cycle. As the lead, I coordinated activities between third party vendors, functional team, and Basis activities along with assisting in the prioritization of development activities. I met frequently with PMOs and business contacts to report status and analyze/resolve issues of the development team.
  • Supply ChainDesigned and developed conversions of existing SAP and legacy systems data to the client ECC 6.0 environment.   • HCM ConversionDeveloped all HCM conversion programs to load client’s PeopleSoft and legacy data to the ECC 6.0 environment. The development list consisted of over 60 objects. Conversion programs were developed for LSO, OM, PA Reorganization, ADP, OH Medical (EHS), quota balances and other relevant infotypes.
  • LSO/EHSDesigned and developed programs to automate employee’s qualification end date adjustments and parent/child relationships. We also developed an automation process to update employee’s proficiencies based on restrictions/qualifications from SAP’s Employee Health and Safety module.   • Development Sales system to be implemented into over 350 restaurants across the country. The POS software was designed on a Java platform utilizing Sybase database. Type/methods of programming included RMI, multi-threading, and persistence.

  • HR ABAPProvided production support to HR, Time Management, Payroll and Benefits issues. Support included debugging of programs to determine the cause of short dumps, performance enhancement and correcting unexpected results due to configuration and data errors.
  • Payroll Schema,I developed/maintained the Payroll and Time Management schemas for the functions and rulesclient. During the implementation of Time Management, extreme customization of SAP’s delivered schema was needed. Customization included the handling of work day split, overtime, double time and special benefit wage types. I worked directly with the end user’s in the payroll department to design specifications to develop the schema. The maintenance of schemas included the development of new sub-schemas, functions and rules to meet ongoing changes such as the accrual of vacation payments.
  • HR Process Model Due to the client’s complex payroll infrastructure, the actual payroll run was taking 3+ hours of manual intervention every week. To overcome this issue, I created custom process models to meet the needs of each payroll area (5). The process model allowed the user to schedule a payroll run for after hours without manual intervention or monitoring. In the case of abundant errors, the process would notify the call center via email.
  • UserexitsSome userexits within benefits from 3.1h no longer worked in 4.6b as some previously available parameters had been removed. I worked to find and utilize userexit that could be used and created some global variables within the top include userexit for the module pool to pass the data to the needed userexit.
  • InfotypesI worked with many infotypes within HR/PR. From Reports, BDC Sessions, and interfaces, I have become very familiar with where benefits, payroll, tax, and other data are stored in SAP infotypes.
  • PD Org andThis company has over 30,000 employees in fourteen states. Each store
  • Dynamic Event(restaurant) uses the same organization. I worked with human resources and payroll to modify this structure to adapt for the changing needs of the business. I also worked with the Dynamic event to help determine the correct PD Org. position for the new hire and re-hire processing.
