Responsibilities:

Create and maintain software requirement documentation and specifications, using tools like JIRA, to capture new product functionality or enhance current functionality;
Gather and understand business requirements;
Analyze current systems and environments;
QA testing of business applications, custom reports, and internally developed software, for accuracy and adherence to specifications;
Work with different business groups to gain an understanding of teh business and technical functions and translate that knowledge using teh appropriate documentation (a requirements specification, user manuals, and other documentation as needed);
Perform Quality Assurance testing on new/current functionality in order to ensure software specification requirements are met;
Create and maintain databases of known test defects;
Assists in end user training as needed;
Creates standard and ad - hoc reports using web-based reporting tools such as IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Suite, and Excel;
