Build Core Engine of an interactive Kids-Reader Application based on Flash/Air alongside Android runtime. Multiple Android Browser, Music, Gallery app enhancements.
My team built the award winning Nook Video Service, (2012, a VOD service like iTunes), enabling shopping, playback, download of premium Video content, I Integrated ultra-violet syncing support, built multi-screen experiences, Device DRM integration for content security, pause/resume on multiple devices and other device-cloud experiences. In 2011 I drove the very first integration of Secure HD Netflix and 1080p Video Playback on any Android Device. Got the following running and certified on Nook: Netflix, Pandora, Hulu, Adobe Flash, WoodWing Reader's, AMV reader amongst others.

Staff Android Framework Engineer

Responsibilities:

A long with helping ship G1 phone software, my key achievement at Confidential was to drive the design and implementation of the highly coveted and patented low power Audio/Video feature in Confidential Chipsets leading a 7+ engineer team. The suite of features had big design wins internally and with customers (HTC), allowing for the first time, 80 hour audio playback capability (a 40% increase). Enhanced Android framework stack, working closely with Google and Packet Video. Influenced Google engineers enough to redesign their next Android release media architecture.
I proposed, secured funding and led prototyping of Qvoip, an Integrated voice chat client. Provided technical due diligence to Confidential Ventures frequently on multiple Acquisitions & Investments, most notable being AMD.
