Currently working as a Senior WEBFOCUS Consultant assigned to Gallo Wine's Grape Harvest Project. This assignment is focused on making changes to all the WEBFOCUS reports in the GAL Grape Assessment Report system, to equip growers to determine the most optimum harvest time. GAL report system is comprised of 30 reports showing specific laboratory test results for different variety of wines. The data extract for the reports comprised of Oracle SQL, Oracle Views, Store Procedures and Oracle Package. My assignment involves substantially in making changes to Oracle SQL, Oracle Views and Oracle Package supporting the data extract for WEBFOCUS reports. Other duties include maintaining and create new WEBFOCUS reports/charts and create new Report Caster Jobs for batch distribution. This was a relatively short project to assist Lytx to build an adhoc report for internal Lytx staff to track vehicle utilization statistics for their customers. A reporting object was built to fulfill this requirement. All necessary joins and define statements as virtual fields are completed within the reporting object. Security was assigned to Lytx's internal staff members only. Another adhoc report was built to be accessed by Lytx's customers. This report displayed vehicle utilization via a Dashboard with 4 frames, 2 frames representing graphical display and 2 frames representing summary aggregates on vehicle utilization. The information is accessible by Lytx customers subject to security rules applied via Lytx's single sign on policy and WebFocus Security Administration. Authorized users can only view vehicle utilization related to their organization and subsidiaries. I was part of a team of 3 developers to assist Noridian Blue Cross Blue Shield to build 2 applications, namely MyClaims and Plan Details to be integrated to the Noridian Online Member Service portal for support of Obama Care Initiatives. MyClaims provide patient payment and charged information related to services rendered to each patient. Authorized counselors are permitted to access the system to provide online support to patients via hotline 1-800 support. Customized dashboards are built to guide authorized counselors to navigate to reports related to Professional Medical report, Dental detail report, Hospital Visits report, Prescription Drugs services and Vision Detail report. The system was built using WebFocus 8.002 and complex customization via JavaScript's functions to create hyperlink to other sections of the Online Member Service portal. Strict security rules are applied to protect patients' privacy. Unique approaches on layering of HTML pages are applied to the application development for re-use of the same frame for different service report. Development of the Plan Detail application utilized customized graphics to provide comparative information on current patient's charges incurred vs. policy entitlement. Plan Details application was designed to display co-payment, current charges applied and policy entitlement and expiration. This application also utilized customization with JavaScript's functions and strict security rules to protect patient's privacy. Both applications were integrated seemingly to Noridian Online Member Service portal without exposing that WebFocus was the reporting software.

I was engaged as a Senior Consultant in this project to assist Federal Reserve Bank FSRB Dallas, Texas to build a proof of concept on the use of Webfocus 8 for a simple dashboard to track on travel expenses and the count of trips taken across all districts for each year. The dashboard consists of 4 graphical display and 2 trending reports. It was deployed to a designated group of users for preliminary studies. Filters for selections of year, districts, trips purpose and trips category was added to provide dynamic selection of report criteria. I was engaged as a senior consultant to provide advice, guidance, and assistance for the development of the Area Director Dashboard and Area Director Static Reports. The scope of this project involves setting up a Development/QA/Production environment for the Reporting server, the Report Caster and configuring Development Studio to access them. The entire engagement involved with conducting frequent meetings with business users for defining reporting requirements, building cluster joins Master File Description for report development and building dashboards and portal for online access of the reports. A total of 15 static reports were delivered as static weekly scheduled reports, burst to all directors via a dynamic distribution list. Phase 1 was focused on development of a series of 10 reports with sizzle graphical reports disbursed in PowerPoint format.
