Responsibilities:
- I am a primary architect/developer for a Server-side Swift Web Application Proof of Concept effort.
- While I cannot yet discuss the nature of the project in great detail due to NDA restrictions, a major focus of the POC is providing the customer with multiple technology stack options.
- These options include implementing on cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services and AWS Lambda, IBM Bluemix and OpenWhisk as well as traditional onsite servers using Kitura and Vapor all backended with NoSQL databases.
- Additionally I also designed and implemented an iOS app to demonstrate the end to end feasibility of the overall solutions for the client.

- While I can’t go into details due to an in-force NDA, this framework is similar in nature to what a company like Uber might use to facilitate their mobile marketplace.

- Lead the development of the iOS online homework management application for the SaplingLearning division of Confidential publishing.
- This is a universal iPad/iPhone application that leverages an enterprise class backend built by our team using Node.js, Nginx and PostgreSQL and provides enrolled high school and higher ed students with an up to date view of their their course activities, course resources, due dates and grades.
- I stood this project up from scratch building out the development backend infrastructure including the Git repository, Xcode Continuous Integration server and automatic deployment to TestFlight and monitoring with Crashlytics, Google Analytics and New Relic. Being an education application, significant attention was given to accessibility concerns.
- This project was managed with Atlassian Jira.

- Designed and implemented the User Interface flow for Confidential 2.x. Limos consists of two applications, the first is an Android app for the car’s driver and the other is an iOS application that allows customers to search, schedule and pay for Limousine services.
- The driver’s Android app enabled features such as background messaging, not available on iOS at the time. Confidential makes extensive use of geolocation services, backend integration via Ruby on Rails based web services and voice to both backend booking/billing systems and driver-side applications.
- I was also responsible for deployment to the iTunes App Store.
