I Supervised personnel in providing terrain analysis products using GIS software for the executive leadership, staff, and subordinate staffs for Operational Plans OPLAN , exercises and deployments. Provided technical guidance to subordinates in the production of the products. Responsible for 5 million worth of terrain computer systems. Was picked to deploy with the CJSOTF AP 10th SFG AB Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force Arabian Peninsula Tenth Special Forces Air Born to Iraq. Was the only Topographic Sergeant and analyst for 4 out of the 8 months. I was in charge of controlling all production and distribution. I collected all data from the theatre of operation to create and produce real world mission products. I briefed daily on topographic production and worked hand in hand with Imagery Analyst to receive Imagery for on the spot production. I created River studies and bridge analyses for the Navy SEAL Special operations. Produced Route analysis for convoys. Modified combined obstacle overlays. Using the blue prints for various cities would query house locations which led to the retrieval of US kidnapped personnel. Some products were of different known areas of interest they were happy snaps then after a mission they were claimed to be mosque. We would have to go back and analyze the imagery and compare to insure the analysis was conducted properly. Depending on the type of product to be produced we would use different software packages and extensions. We would use Arc GIS, ERDAS Imagine, Falcon-View and Remote- View. My work ethics and production proficiency raised the map distribution 60 with over 90 high profile enemy fighters killed or captured.
