Project: Confidential-Aggregate Spend Reporting System
Project Description: IBM worked with Confidential to develop an Aggregate Spend Compliance Management Roadmap that will help facilitate compliance to current State legislation and Office of the Inspector General (OIG) reporting requirements. IBM implemented the first part of the road map, I.e. Phase 1 of Customer Master and Aggregate Spend Reporting System (ASRS) that included Health Care Professionals (HCP) essential to support the spend types required for state and federal/OIG reporting requirements.
The Customer Master (MDM) and Aggregate Spend Reporting System (ASRS) Phase 2 project add remaining HCP sources containing non-prescribes and also include Institutions/Organizations. This will support Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) for 2010 and 2011 as well as recently released State Legislation requirements. The project will also help drive towards a “single source of truth” by propagating profile updates to SFA and other systems.
The US based IBM team consisted of member IBM Team consist of 9 members split across the two systems ASRS and CM. The IBM Team was supported by an offshore team ranging from 4-7 members. The efforts of the team were centered on providing the required Promotional Spend Compliance State and Federal (According to the Corporate Integrity Agreement CIA) reports through the use of the ASRS and CM system.
Project Contribution:
- Responsible for managing and loading the Fact data and CM(MDM) from Source Files to Data Mart.
- Verify the BR files, if we received new set of files from Business Analyst and Compare the files to previous version and give the BR Comparison Report to the Business Analyst and ensure that the changes impacted were good and as expected.
- Use the application and provide information before starting the Load.
- Ensure that there were no Failures/Errors at each stage of the process like Stage, ODS, BR, DM.
- Update the Load status to Business Analyst and make sure that reports were generated.
- Check the Under Merge data and share it with CM (MDM) team and gather the updates whether the records were merged or not.
- Once the reports were verified and Submitted by Global Compliance, take the Backup of all the files used for that particular load.

Project Scope:
P & G will be using Informatica 8.1 with Informatica Connector to feed data to and from salesforce.com. The project will create Informatica ETL mappings required for datafeeds/fetch from salesforce and updating attributes and entities within salesforce based on specified events. Control-M is used for scheduling the Workflows.
