The objective of SIID - Post Entitlement Service Coverage Opportunity (PESCO) Reporting was to provide a reporting platform to identify the post-entitlement service coverage opportunity data and prepare the foot-print of the entire software coverage at the device level. Post entitlement opportunity reporting provides information on the Entitlement Event as well as the Install Base & Contract related information for the Software Components on the device.
This project had lot of issues in all aspects like lack of clarity of requirements from client side, challenge of integrating data spread across four oracle databases, performance issues with each of the queries, data inconsistency, creating of new environment setup in $U scheduling server for Informatica.
