Responsibilities:

Directed the complete end to end implementation of the Charles River IMS for a global asset manager. Ensured that there was both a clearly defined action plan and on-going, clear communications between all stakeholders. Project involved implementing the compliance model across multiple business groups as well as implementing multiple asset classes: equity, fixed income, mutual fund, options. Additionally, implemented FIX. Among other key features, the new system provided an automated start of day processing capability, eliminating the previous manual process the firm used which was tedious and error prone. Overall effort required by the client for ongoing support of the IMS was reduced by 30%
Program managed the creation and implementation of a custom loan matching/settlement system for a super-regional bank. Coordinated and managed the effort of both internal resources as well as the third party development teams, consistently identifying potential issues and ensuring they were resolved efficiently and effectively. The system utilized a messaging interface with real time connectivity and high volume data processing capability.
Implemented inventory planning system for global manufacturer of aircraft seating. Successful completion required assessment of existing system and creating an effective “lift and shift” of necessary data elements-complicating matters was the need to maintain most of the data in both English and French.
Through a collaborative effort across the project teams the system was migrated effectively and brought on line, on schedule.
Managed the end to end creation and implementation of a performance attribution system for a leading investment bank. Implementing the firm’s attribution strategy, the system utilized OLAP processing to provide necessary drill down capability. System also enabled stress testing based on what-if analysis.
Led the reference data warehouse solution assessment and selection process for a domestic insurance firm, culminating in the selection of the Eagle Investment Systems Solutions. Subsequently managed the successful implementation Accounting, Reference, and Data Warehouse components.
Directed end to end implementation of multiple Ariba installations, including both client server and cloud based versions.
Directed the migration efforts from legacy trading systems to a Principia platform. Successful implementation of the project required developing a complete understanding of existing data structures in the legacy system and then focusing on one to one mapping of the relevant fields. The project also managed the integration of the Principia platform into the firm’s remaining internal systems.
