They have number of reporting and analytical tools and they wanted to converge into a single reporting and analytical solution and Business Objects is their choice after careful evaluation of vendors operating in the Business Intelligence tools area.
Sales, Inventory & Depletions are the subject areas covered in the increment – I of this new data warehousing initiative. Developing a data warehouse on SQL server, extracting data from various sources, designing a fully functional ad-hoc query oriented universe and around 30 Web Intelligence and Business Objects reports using this universe is part of this initiative.
