End User Computing (EUC) Architect Resume

SUMMARY:

The EUC Architect should have good exposure and experience in Design, Architecture and Execution of large complex projects for Desktop estate in a large enterprise.
This Position requires a wide variety of technical skills, expertise and ability to consult with and provide right solutions.
EUC architect should stay abreast of emerging software technologies and is viewed as a solution expert in defining technical architecture; influences technology decisions and involve in creating the technology roadmaps for the Desktop ecosystem .
EUC Architect is expected to closely work with Confidential Project stakeholders and Confidential community to align and agree on the priorities and design decisions
10 - 12 years of total Infrastructure experience operating as a EUC / Desktop Solutions Architect for a large customer engagement.
Strong communications skills and commitment to customer service.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and across territories to provide solution /guidance / direction
Ability to collaborate and work with cross tower teams across Projects and Operations
Hands-on experience in technically leading large and complex projects for Desktop estate from concept to delivery - including but not limited to Windows OS migration, SCCM 2012 implementation / migration, Microsoft Office suite upgrade, Lotus Notes migration, VPN implementation and PC security products implementation.
Good knowledge of security for End User Computing environment.
Knowledge and experience in transition and transformational activities.
Expert in producing High Level and Low Level designs and documentation.
Should be a go to person for any technical queries / issues related to Desktop Engineering activities.
Experience in working on Desktop Engineering activities for a desktop estate more than 10,000.
Knowledge of Windows server operating systems, SQL Server, Networking and Firewall.
Knowledge and experience in at least one architectural framework.
Good experience in managing technical architects and junior architects.
Experience in working with customers from multiple geographies.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and one project management methodology

Provide Technical and Architecture oversight for all projects focused on Desktop technologies and guide the Infrastructure Engineering designers
Focus on competency development in EUC space and grooming Confidential designers within the account.
Conduct workshops by engaging the TDA community and lead pilot / POC work for identified areas
Collaborate with Confidential TDA and Confidential CoE teams to implement and drive Desktop initiatives / projects

Conduct Technology assessment in the Desktop Engineering space and provide recommendations for standardization and transformation to achieve optimization and enhancing end user experience
